Sorry to say i wasnt keen on the scent and couldnt smell patchouli at all. Disappointed to be honest. It was nice to get the lemon oil as a free gift but as its toxic to dogs i cant use it in my diffuser.
Wish i could be more positive as i do like to support local enterprise.

I’m very sorry to hear that the scent of the Sea Buckthorn Skin Elixir wasn’t what you were hoping for, and that the lemon essential oil gift wasn’t suitable for your home. I completely understand how disappointing that can feel.
With our facial formulations, we follow industry recommended safety guidelines, using essential oils at a maximum of 0.5% for facial care. Patchouli is included at this safe level and is the final ingredient in the blend, so while its aroma is quite subtle and not intended to perform like a perfume it offers beautiful skin-supporting benefits such as helping to calm, balance, and support mature or dry skin.
That said, your experience matters to us. I’ll be organising a full refund for your balm shortly.
Regarding the lemon distilled essential oil, if you’re unable to use it in a diffuser due to your dog which is completely understandable, here are a couple of alternative ways you might enjoy it safely.
DIY Natural Cleaning Spray
1 cup water
1 cup white vinegar
10 to 15 drops lemon essential oil.
Combine in a glass spray bottle, perfect for kitchen benches or sinks and works a treat on glass stove tops and oven doors.
Lemon Hand Scrub
½ cup sugar or fine salt
¼ cup olive or coconut oil
5 to 8 drops lemon essential oil.
Mix together and store in a small jar for occasional use, this one is wonderful for cleaning and refreshing your hands after a day in the garden.
Or of course, it can also be passed on to a friend or family member who enjoys citrus oils

I'm loving the Galens Cold Cream with luxurious rose and divine honey and beeswax for my skin. I have been using it every day ... as a make-up and sunscreen remover; as a night cream; and as a body moisturiser. It's heavenly. The texture is thick and rich, but not at all oily. It leaves akin feeling so smooth and soothed. This is truly a magical cream.

This cleanser is so light and silky. It’s very easy to apply and the grime that’s lifted is easy to see on the cotton pads I use to wipe it off. It’s perfect for my sensitive skin. My face feels clean and fresh, ready for serum and moisturiser. Thank you Lisa for, as always, outstanding products.
